I had the same struggle when i became vegan, i made this video to try and help those who are missing the meat taste/bite in their food.
4 simple ways to replicate meat products with easy to find products and without hurting any animals.

Regular TVP meat ingredients:
– 1dl TVP (with enough water to cover it)
– 1/2 cube of vegetable or vegan beef stock
– 1 tsp paprika
– 1/2 tsp onion powder
– 1/2 tsp garlic powder
– 1/2 tsp liquid smoke
– 1 tsp oil
– 1/2 tbsp BBQ sauce
Dark TVP meat ingredients:
– 1 small onion fried in a little bit of olive oil
– 1dl dark TVP (with enough water to cover it)
– 1/2 tsp salt
– 1 tsp paprika
– Dash of black pepper
– 1/2 tsp garlic powder
– 1/2 tsp onion powder
– Pinch of smoked salt
Soy chunks spice variations:
In an ASIAN DISH:
Paprika, garlic powder, ginger powder and soy sauce.
In Mediterranean/Middle Eastern cuisine:
Onion powder, black pepper, sage, lemon salt (citric acid), salt and liquid smoke.
Soy chunks showed in the video:
Onion powder, a dash of lemon salt, dash of ginger powder, liquid smoke, salt and some black pepper.
Seitan minced meat ingredients:
DRY INGREDIENTS
– 3/4 cup of vital wheat gluten
– 1 tsp paprika
– 1 tsp onion powder
– 1 ml ginger powder
– 1/2 tsp garlic powder
– 1/2 tsp meat spice
– 1/2 ml black pepper
– 1/2 tsp salt
– 2 1/2 tbsp nutritional yeast
– 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
WET INGREDIENTS
– 2 tbsp ketchup
– 1 tbsp BBQ sauce
– 1 tbsp pickled beetroot water
(replace with 1/2 tbsp red wine vinegar & 1/2 tbsp water)
– 1/2 tbsp red wine vinegar
– 3 tbsp Oil
– 1/2 tsp liquid smoke
– 1 tbsp water
