Healthy-ish Homestyle Biscuits Recipe:
3 cups unbleached all purpose flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
2 tsp salt
2 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp baking powder
1 ½ cups nondairy milk + 2 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
6 tbsp canola/vegetable oil
1 tbsp vegan butter, melted for brushing on tops (optional)

Breakfast Sausage Gravy Recipe:
6 tbsp olive oil
½ cup unbleached all-purpose flour
1 carton (4 cups) unsweetened Almond Milk
½ roll LightLife Gimme Lean Sausage (4-6 sausage patties)
1 tsp dried thyme (or 1 tbsp fresh)
1 tsp dried rosemary (or 1 tbsp fresh)
1 tsp dried sage (or 1 tbsp fresh)
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
Pinch of crushed red pepper

    Thanks to you as well. I love biscuits but haven’t made them in awhile. This is the hearty biscuit bite that I have been looking for. I am hoping to make it with vegan butter next time to see the difference.

    I admittedly didn’t make the gravy because I had another recipe that I really enjoyed. I am hoping to make it soon though because looking at the recipe now, it looks so good.
